Chapter 6 From The Jungle to Tumbleweeds
Untitled Action/Adventure/Mystery/Comedy/Romantic/ Story:
“Which tumbleweed do you think will get down the street first?“, inquired Lou Roo to Buck Weak.
“If Gretta Gumballs doesn‘t get in the way when she crosses the street on her bike the big one will kick butt on the small one.”, was his relay.
“50 shining cents, says yo full of cow droppings.“
“You’re on sucker. Easy Money.“ They waited with eager anticipation as Gretta got on her bike. Thus was a normal conversation that took place in the Town Square in Hushville. From the steamy jungles of Vietnam with a missing crime fighter and 6 mystical creatures to a small town with ordinary non-ordinary small town folks. Welcome to the small town of Hushville. In Hushville there was a low population of only 56 people. The sheriff of Hushville, who was also mayor, fire chief and state representative, was recently on a case that he felt dealt with what he thought was murder. This was unusual for the town. The only reason they had the sheriff was to give old man Silva his usual speeding ticket. At first, the bodies found on Daisy Junkins farm were written off as nothing important and now two months later, the names of the two were still unknown. It was at about this time that the sheriff decided that it was time for an investigation into the matter. So when the two went to the ‘The Local Market’, the Sheriff was blown away by an Unknown assailant. THEN, The Mysterious Unknown Assailant pulled his gun inside his car and drove off. Manual did not know what to do. The folks on the block did not know what to do. Granny WaterSpoon had a heart attack; the shock was just too much for her. Goober Joe lost his bet with Boozing Bob that The Sheriff would never get gunned down. By a strange coincidence Bob Marly’s “ I shot the Sheriff” started to play out of Bob Bobbit’s boom box. It least this would be something to write about in the Town Newsletter. There was not enough News to cover the length of a real newspaper. The last big event that happen in Hushville, not counting the murder which is really part of the sheriff getting blown away, was when Randy the Champion Pig Wrestler came to town. It seemed as if the Mysterious Unknown Assailant was going to get away until.......
