Poem for my Husband

Oh how I pine for your manly touch
For the intimacy we share
Where we are together

But ode to the times we are parted by time and distance
As of late
Alone all day, the dutiful wife
The laundry is done, the dinner all cooked
By the satisfaction of my loving obedience somehow lacks.
It’s okay though
My love is unconditional
So, my hair is up the way you like it
And I prayed and read and wrote today
But I missed you and want to be a better wife
Even if lonliness makes me better.

I write you poerty you are too busy to read.
I cry you see not my tears
You act silly to intertain
Yourself? Me?
I an’t tell anymore

Where are we going
Right or wrong
Will you listen to my sleeplessness
